Norman Jennings:

Norman's methodical organizational skills have been applied to a variety of projects. He is currently the Project Manager for The Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat project that will open in Ottawa in 2008 and the Aga Khan Museum, Wynford Drive, both being designed in association with Maki and Associates of Tokyo, Japan. Other projects Norman has managed include the Alan Earp Student Residence at Brock University, which opened in 2001, Holly Meadows School and Addition and the Whitby Civic Centre Recreation Complex. Projects he has contributed to include the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, the Bata Shoe Museum and the North York City Centre.

Under Norman's guidance, the firm's computer-related tools and skills continue to provide improved client service. Norman is responsible for the planning, development, and administration of Moriyama & Teshima's computer systems. He put Moriyama & Teshima on the Internet in 1995 with the first web site for a Canadian architect. The Moriyama & Teshima Planners site was also designed and implemented by Norman in 2004. He has developed our office computer standards and handbook, and also founded and edits our internal @M&T newsletter.

Norman has a Bachelor of Technology (Architectural Science) from Ryerson University.

For many years Norman raced karts in Canada and the United States winning numerous races and championships. He is involved today with ASN Canada FIA, the governing body for all motorsports in Canada, as the National Karting Steward. Norman has organized and officiated at Regional, National and International events, including the World Karting Championships.
