Ontario granite and timber formed both structure and finish. Designed entirely barrier-free, the single-storey home accommodated evolving stages of life, including separate guest quarters for caregiving and extended stays.

Regenerative landscaping, native plantings, rainwater harvesting, and high-efficiency systems anchored the home within its rural setting. Expansive glazing reduced reliance on artificial lighting, while the roof and electrical systems were designed to support future photovoltaic installation.
