Overlooking the adjacent ravine, the building is an extension of the original iconic John Andrews Science Wing, respecting the UTSC master plan, matching existing built patterns, and linking old and new through interior pedestrian streets.

Exterior cladding materials such as Indiana Limestone, wood and glass continue as interior surfaces connecting the outside to inside.
