Within the building, community is fostered through shared spaces and amenities. Practical areas such as the laundry room is paired with areas for gathering, play, and performance to cultivate a true vertical village. Built from a flexible kit of prefabricated mass timber components, every decision was guided by three objects — affordability, sustainability, and community. The result is both a site-specific solution and a replicable framework to address the affordable housing and climate crisis.
