At the focal point of this dynamic building, the rotunda is an open and light-filled atrium for faculty, students, and industry partners to gather. Lined in warm-toned travertine and white oak, the space unfolds as an engaging place for daily interactions, meetings, receptions, and conferences.

On the exterior, the Innovation Complex’s floor-to-ceiling glass displays the activity inside and activates an underused courtyard to articulate an animated presence to passersby. Vertical aluminum fins on the upper two storeys continue the visual permeability while providing effective shading from direct sunlight.
