Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat

In collaboration with Maki & Associates, MTA designed this open, secular facility located on Sussex Drive in Ottawa. The building acts as a sanctuary for peaceful. quiet diplomacy, and facilitates the Imam’s role to improve the quality of life in the Ismaili community, as well as the wider society in which it exists. Conceived of as a pavilion in a park, the central atrium space is surrounded by lower rectangular volumes finished in glass and crystallized glass.
