Scarborough Civic Centre

The Scarborough Civic Centre is the original municipal city hall for the former Borough of Scarborough. Designed by Raymond Moriyama, the legacy building embodies a democratic spirit. Its distinctive form, with two interlocking triangular towers arranged around a luminous central atrium, symbolizes unity, transparency, and openness. The expressive rooflines, soaring in opposing half-pyramids, reflect hope and aspiration, welcoming all community members. Anchored by Albert Campbell Square, the civic centre functions as a vibrant hub of public engagement and event programming.
