Simcoe County Museum Expansion

As part of its plan to better display and care for museum collections and highlight Simcoe County’s historical innovation, the Simcoe County Museum is expanding and upgrading the existing museum over a seven-year period. The Matthews Innovation and Transportation Gallery features a wood facade with vertical cladding and is situated across from a grove of trees, lending a sense of rhythm between the museum and its surroundings.
