Lakehead University Simcoe Hall

This first building on Lakehead University's new 85 acre Orillia LEED Platinum Campus, Simcoe Hall sets a strong precedent for future developments. Committed to the local community and sustainability, the institution wished to create a green campus where environmental responsibility is part of every student’s education. Sustainable design strategies include native landscaping, daylight harvesting, stormwater management, use of regional materials, and energy performance optimization.
